My Creed

I believe that God is calling every human being to be a member of God's kingdom and make real the vision of the new earth and new heaven.
 I believe in One God: Creator, Redeemer and Comforter, the only God of love, that loves creation and wants to live in us . I believe that the church is the people of God, and should live in love and inclusiviness embracing the diversity of the children of God. 
I believe that love will destroy hate and segregation. I discovered my pastoral call serving as a volunteer in a Christian shelter for street children and orphans, I found God present in the hope and meaning that the children found there. I see the love of God calling us to live as community, and I also see how this love transforms lives every day. I love God because God loved me first and taught me to desire this experience of love daily in the life of the Church, the Body of Christ. I live a contemplative life of prayer and an active life of service. Pray and Serve daily.

Preaching / Worship  

I preach contextual sermons, in a way that honors the text and connects the Gospel with the reality of the community and daily life. I can create different styles of sermons according to the necessity of the congregation. I also connect the theme of a message with the worship experience. I am comfortable leading Traditional worship, Spanish Language worship and Emerging Church worship. I have developed ideas and strategies to use media in the emerging worship style and also in a variety of forms of preaching, using arts, video, music, etc.
So I am confident in preaching the word of God in traditional and in alternative worship settings. 

Evangelism / Mission 

My ministry has always been mission-oriented because I firmly believe that we need to preach the Good News of Jesus to everybody. It is my creed that the Gospel brings meaning, hope, transformation and life to the people and also to the church. I believe that the Christian faith is a missionary faith, and for this reason the local church should focus on mission. 
My Confirmation Bible verse is always my rule of faith in Evangelism: Romans: 1, 16
 "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes."

Spiritual Formation 

For me it is very important that each disciple develops a deep experience of faith and relationship with God, especially by receiving support to grow in prayer, contemplation and meditation. I love to walk with people along their journey of faith, sharing with them my experience with different prayer styles, especially contemplative prayer, and also the practice of Lectio Divina (Spiritual Reading). I consider that spiritual formation is very important to develop a great love for the Lord and his Word, and also provides vision for mission and service. In spiritual formation I have discovered God's beauty and the amazing grace and love of the Holy Spirit by following the spiritual formation path and guiding others along the same way.
